Four MPPTs, one string each. Maximum PV voltage is 60 V, start-up is 20 V, the MPPT window is 25–55 V, and rated PV voltage is 42.5 V. Operating current is 15 A on each input. Short-circuit current is 22.5 A on each input.

Module input is 210–560 W on SUN-M160G4-EU-Q0 and 210–700 W on SUN-M200G4-EU-Q0, four modules. Different orientations and partial shade reduce mismatch. That is not a promise that shade has no effect. Module wattage alone is not enough to size the system.

Rated AC is 1600 W and 1600 VA on M160, and 2000 W and 2000 VA on M200. At 220/230 V (0.85Un–1.1Un) the current is 7.3/7 A on M160 and 9.1/8.7 A on M200. Connection is L/N/PE. Frequency is 50 Hz (45–55 Hz) or 60 Hz (55–65 Hz). Up to 4 units per AC branch on M160, and 3 on M200.

Shutdown, then fault protection

How many PV modules does it take?

Four modules, one per MPPT. Module input is 210–560 W on M160 and 210–700 W on M200. Each input is 15 A. Maximum PV voltage is 60 V, with a 25–55 V MPPT window.

Separate trackers reduce mismatch when modules face different directions or see partial shade. That is not a promise that shade has no effect.

How do M160 and M200 differ?

SUN-M160G4-EU-Q0 is 1600 W and 1600 VA, 7.3/7 A at 220/230 V, modules up to 560 W, and up to 4 units on one AC branch.

SUN-M200G4-EU-Q0 is 2000 W and 2000 VA, 9.1/8.7 A, modules up to 700 W, and up to 3 units per branch. Its rated output cap is 25% higher than M160. Efficiency, size, IP rating, and Wi-Fi are the same.

Is module wattage enough to size it?

No. A module’s wattage is only the top of the allowed range: 560 W on M160 and 700 W on M200.

The module still has to fit 60 V maximum, the 25–55 V MPPT window, and 15 A per input. The inverter’s rated output is 1600 W on M160 and 2000 W on M200.

What warranty is listed?

The warranty is 10 years.
