The SUN-16K is rated 16 kW and the SUN-20K is rated 20 kW, three-phase at 220/380 V or 230/400 V. Maximum apparent power is 17.6 kVA on the 16K and 22 kVA on the 20K. Output can be 100% unbalanced, and each phase can carry up to 50% of that model's rated power.

Off-grid, peak power is twice that model's rated output for 10 seconds — 32 kW on the 16K and 40 kW on the 20K. That peak is not a continuous rating. The inverter can store energy from a diesel generator. Continuous grid-to-load passthrough is 70 A on both models.
